With any exercise program it is a good idea to start with some gentle stretches of the muscles you will be using for that activity. Start off slowly and plan to increase the intensity of your exercise gradually over time as your conditioning and stamina improve. Starting an exercise program with too much intensity can lead to injuries or soreness which can discourage staying with the program. Eating healthier can lead to not only weight loss but a better quality of life.
